In this report, we evaluate the work progress and achievements of the Neuromed consortium in the last 18 months, and present suggestions for the third year of the project. This was done taking into account the main objective of this consortium: to develop a well grounded research network in basic and clinical Neuroscience involving partners from the European Union and Mediterranean countries, and specifically to establish a Mediterranean network of Neuroscience, the first of its kind. Members of the consortium are research centers from France (coordinator), Italy, Spain, Turkey (as EU or equivalent partners), and Algeria, Egypt and Morocco.

Prix pays du Sud Méditerranée
La Société des Neurosciences attribuera des prix d'un montant de 700 euros à des doctorants ou jeunes docteurs d'Afrique du Nord et du Moyen-Orient pour participer à son 10e Colloque qui se tiendra à Marseille du 24 au 27 mai 2011.
