She has a great opportunity to present a detailed report about the Neuromed Project to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt , Prof. Hany Helal. On one hand, to elucidate the Neuromed different themes and objectives to the Minister. On the other hand, asking him to consider the Neuromed Project as an important event that can share in the activities of the French Egyptian Year of Science and Technology 2010.

"President Sarkozy and President Mubarak welcomed the organization in 2010 of the Franco-Egyptian year of Science and Technology, which will include over 60 events in France and Egypt . Six major scientific areas are involved: information and communication technology, sustainable development (renewable energies, water, environment, climate change and agriculture), space, nuclear energy and new technologies for archaeology and health.
The Franco-Egyptian Year of Science is designed to promote cooperation between the two countries in the field of science and technology, extend the links between the two countries' higher-education and research institutions and create Mediterranean research projects in the framework of the Franco-Egyptian co-chairmanship of the Union for the Mediterranean ."
